Visionary Artist
Over the last twenty years Marja Lee Kruÿt has had a great
interest and feels an affinity with, Celtic art and music
and medieval art and music.
"The music seems to invoke in me a great longing with
the landscape of Dartmoor I live in. I’m surrounded by very
old land and the stones seem to whisper hints of memories
to me. I took up playing the Celtic harp and was inspired
to do so through the influence of the Breton Harpist Alan
Stivell, who composed music about old legends of the British
isles.
Spirituality is of great importance to me, and I base my work
on it with a mixture of symbolism, mythology, vision dreams
mysticism, intuition , play and humour."
